(frank) that was awesome. first game I've seen since about mid to late march.

I set my laptop up in a bar here in Toulon.....half the people in the bar didn't know what I was watching, the other half though I was crazy for yelling at my computer.

Interesting how different this series will be compared to last time. The Sens made it into the playoffs on a high octane offense, and now play much more defensive oriented system.

Rangers I confess I don't know as well, but I remember Torts having htem block everything in sight. This year they seem to be a team that scores a ton of goals, but they still have a decent GA. 2011 seemed to be a the opposite in basic GA/GF, 3rd in Goals against, 13 in goals for.

A total series reversal, in all avenues? Lets hope so. Go Sens.

OK, so, I think you need to take oe for the team, go AWOL, and watch every other game from here on out.

If someone had told us that Brassard and Ryan would be the two best forwards in the first round, would anyone have believed them?

I'm more surprised by how ineffective stone has been (in terms of production, granted I haven't actually seen the games) than I am by how good they've been

You guys really have something special to watch when Erik Karlsson is on the ice! He was by far the best player in the series, and in my opinion was the guy that made the difference for Ottawa. Best of luck moving forward with the Rangers.

I still think he's playing hurt. Hopefully these days off gives him time to get back to form.

Yep, totally different team, much more speed & chance oriented offense, still have Lundqvist to save the day & after a pretty mediocre season, he excelled in Rd 1.

I met Clarke back in October when he was home on rehab. Awesome person, I kinda fan girled being a sabres alum. Wished him a speedy recovery. So happy hes back playing and making the impact he is. Go Senators go.

wow, that's bold........ for me, its hard to predict how the Sens will fair out. all the fancy stats show negative, but they pull it out.

I thought the PP looked extremely lethargic yesterday.

as for predictions ...... all i'll go with is I think it will go 6 or 7 games, and I hope its the Sens that come out on top.

Do we have home ice, because they were the Wildcard??

Great way to win the series with MacArthur scoring in OT. But what was with the celebration?! He basically dissed Ryan and went straight for the glass to stare down fans, which seemed un-MacArthur-like. In the post-game interview he said he had history with Boston. I'm trying to think what he was referring to. Anyone know?

Regarding Karlsson, I am perplexed as to why he would talk about his injury like that. I think he just has a hard time not being honest.

He (macarthur) was on the Leafs the year they had that epic game 7 collapse vs. the bruins. Demons now slain...except for the leafs, but who cares about them?

Somewhat like the Boston series, I think this is very evenly matched. The Rangers will be a great depth test for us

Hahaha, the struggle abroad is real! I remember trying desperately to find solid internet in Uganda back in 2012, looking for bars with WiFi in Africa at that time of the morning where you could hear ANYTHING was more-or-less impossible. Had to buy a dongle in the end, and totally not worth it to see Ottawa lost Game 7 to the Rangers

Take the golf bag out of the closet and freshen them up. Sense might win a game maybe two but that's it. Rangers in 6 easy!
